Shibori is the name of the Japanese technique of dyeing cloth where it is wrapped or twisted before being dipped into the dye.
It is a similar technique to what is also commonly called a tie dye effect.
We have used a shibori pattern as the background to our octopus print, lending this design a bold
texture and dimension.
